Waves
Waves come in all sizes, shapes, and forms, but how do you know which ones you want to catch? Underlying currents at sea determine the frequency, strength, and pattern of waves, and swells and other visual cues can tell a ship’s captain much about their velocity and impact. Depending on where he wants to go, he can then change course accordingly. Aside from the everyday functions that we must control, we all have strengths and weaknesses depending upon what parts of our brain are working up to par. When your mind tells your body to do something and it doesn’t respond, it doesn’t necessarily mean that there is something “wrong” with either of them. It just means that the preferred pathways of communication are not being realized, and are thus not able to create the desired effect. Without being overly technical and for those of you who wish to learn more, Dr. Hugo Heyrman has put together a really nice visual representation at: http://www.doctorhugo.org/brainwaves/brainwaves.html But for now hop on board, catch a wave, and chart your course to a happier, more productive life.
